BAPS of the Month – March

We know it’s mid April but the Easter break is never a good time to announce a win.  We wanted people to hear about our BAPS of the Month for March.

For those who don’t already know:

BAPS = Bl**dy Awesome ParentS.

We had some really lovely nominations.  All of them deserved to be winners.

However, we had the task of choosing just one.

BUT BAPS of the MonthBAPS of the Month – March

Our winner is the lovely Marc Carter.

Here are some of the comments from his nominations.

Marc has three children with complex needs and is a full time carer. He also has his own significant health problems and struggles with pain constantly.
Despite this once the younger two are at school Marc will be found representing parents as a trustee of his local Parent Carer Forum, as a governor for a local special school, as an ambassador for parents with disabled children fighting for their rights and working with the local and health authorities to change the way they support families.
Marc previously setup a charity in the Midlands before moving to Devon, supporting hundreds of families with special needs children a year as well as setting up the biggest specialist play service in the region.
Not forgetting the work Marc currently does with his hugely successful LittleBlueCup project helping hundreds of families find precious items for their children.
As you can see, choosing Marc was an easy option for us this month.

What does our BAPS of the month win?
