Justice Together are asking for your help

Can you help another family?

  • Has your child/young person spent time in an Assessment and Treatment Unit (ATU) that was outside your local area?
  • Have you been successful in claiming travel expenses from statutory services (the health authority/Clinical Commissioning Group or a local authority department) to cover the cost of you travelling from your home to the ATU and back in order to visit your child/young person?
  • If yes, would you be willing to share your story with Justice Together to help us develop some guidance for other families who need help with travel expenses in order to visit a loved one (held against their wishes and their family’s wishes) outside their local area?

Please can you share this within your networks so that we can reach as many families as possible?

Please email debs@bringingustogether.org.uk if you can help.
