Back Ups:

To ensure the security and safety of this site, we create daily backups of all information on this site, which are held in a zip file within our email server. Each backup file is deleted in full when the next one is created.

The Site also includes links to websites we recommend or work with on a collaborative basis, and provides access to products and services offered by third parties, whose privacy policies we do not control. Some of the links we provide are “affiliate links.”

Competitions

This site  may run competitions and giveaways. In order to facilitate these, competition entrants will be required to supply certain information. This includes but is not limited to; full name, email address, and on occasion, full postal address.

Full postal addresses of winners will be shared with brands where necessary to ensure delivery of your prize. As such, supplying of full postal address is necessary to enter any competitions on this site. Your details will never be shared with anyone other than the brand supplying the prize for the giveaway or competition which you enter. we take steps to ensure that prize suppliers are GDPR compliant and do not use your details for any other reason than to provide your prize, but we cannot be held responsible for any misuse of data by any third party.

How Do We Store Your Information as a Subscriber?

Your information is stored at the list server that delivers this Site’s newsletters (https://MailChimp.com). Your information can only be accessed by those who help manage those lists in order to deliver e-mail to those who would like to receive this Site’s newsletters. 

All of the newsletters or emails that are sent to you by this Site include an unsubscribe link in them. You can remove yourself at any time from our newsletters or mailing list by clicking on the unsubscribe link that can be found in every communication that we send you.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

We keep contact form entries for six months, analytics records for a year, and customer purchase records for ten years.

WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
