We know that families are desperate for support, advice and information. They want their voices and views heard; they want their loved ones to have voices too, and they want to be listened to, asked questions and to have commissioners and NHS England responding and feeding back to them. They want to be equal partners in the journey and experiences of their relative.
Bringing Us Together is absolutely passionate about disabled children and adults leading meaningful lives in their own communities, near to their loved ones, supported by compassionate and skilled community members and support staff.
As a result, we bring together several family members and practitioners to discuss their experiences in the hope that we can raise awareness, share learning and lead to meaningful lives for our children and young people. We call these families our Stronger Together families.
