Asking Questions : You said, we listened.

exchange-of-ideas-222788_640We have had a great deal of feedback about the use of forums on our site.

The forums had, in fact, become a small part of the site as our focus has really evolved since we launched.  We have been listening to what families were saying and asking for; so our focus now is more on Family Rights, Mental Capacity Act, CitizenshipPerson Centred practices and also The Learning Disability Alliance

We did consider just removing the chance to ask questions (other than by direct email or in our Facebook group) but our members said they did like being able to ask questions (and they also liked being able to offer an answer) but they weren’t too keen on having to register, just to ask a question.  We have been looking around at different options and trying different software and we think we have an alternative.

We now have a Submit a Question page and a Questions and Answers page so you can see the questions being asked and can respond.  You don’t have to register with us now, you can just reply using your email address.

We hope this helps.
